It’s still on twitter’s trending topic by the time I’m posting this.. and do you guys know the topic was originally SATIRICAL and the starter is also a Muslim?

It’s kinda weird when I read @Strange_Sanum ‘s and found her tweeted, “The whole of Indonesia hates me. looks like another country i’m steering clear of next time i go on holiday…”

And I, as an Indonesian that understands English and knows the genre ‘satire’, just can go, “-___________-” So most of Indonesian judge people without delving into the issue well?

I’m not fully blaming Indonesian for all the hate tweets toward @Strange_Sanum since many non-Indonesians also misunderstand the topic.. But reading her tweet about the hate tweets flood she got from Indonesian tweeps, I’m a lil bit ashamed here ._. Do some reserach before making a judgement, pls.

Now let’s take a look on how the hashtag’s proper purpose, shall we?
